Dr. Hackett is a medical advisor for CAT and leads the clinical
planning discussions for Aestis. He is internationally recognized
leader in altitude research and one of the world’s foremost experts in
the physiology of hypoxia.
Jay T. Kearney, Ph.D.
Dr. Kearney is a former head of Sport Sciences for the U.S. Olympic
Committee. He has published more than 75 scholarly articles and has
lectured broadly both in the U.S. and internationally.
Hugh Montgomery, M.D.
Dr. Montgomery is a senior lecturer in Cardiovascular Genetics,
Honorary Consultant in Intensive Care, University College London. Dr.
Montgomery has studied the mechanisms of hypoxia-induced weight loss.
Steve Muza, Ph.D.
Dr. Muza is a researcher with the U.S. Army Research Institute for
Environmental Medicine and one of the most active and well respected
altitude researchers in the U.S.
Robert C. Roach, Ph.D.
Dr. Roach is the Director of Research for the Colorado Center for
Altitude Medicine and Physiology and a leading researcher in altitude
physiology.
Heikki Rusko, Ph.D.
Dr. Rusko is a pioneering researcher in the field of hypoxia and
altitude simulation, a member of the Finnish Olympic Committee, and
professor of sports physiology at the University of Jyvaskula Finland.

University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Center for Human

James O. Hill, Ph.D.
Dr. Hill is Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at the University of
Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Hill also
serves as the Director of the Center for Human Nutrition, a nutrition
center funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Richard Holcomb, Ph.D.
Dr. Holcomb works for Quintiles Transnational Corp., a multi-billion
dollar international contract research organization specializing in the
design and management of clinical trials, as well as product
commercialization.
Benjamin Honigman, M.D.
Dr. Honigman, based in Denver, CO, is a Professor of Surgery and the
Head of the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of
Colorado School of Medicine and is the Director of the Colorado Center
for Altitude Medicine and Physiology.
Benjamin D. Levine, M.D.
Dr. Levine, based in Dallas, TX, is a Professor of Medicine and the
Director of the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at
the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Wim H.M. Saris, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Saris is a professor in Human Nutrition at the University of
Maastricht in the Netherlands, focusing on energy metabolism and
substrate utilization under different conditions, including athletic
performance, obesity, diabetes and cancer, with a particular emphasis
